The term “you” or “your” refers to the user or viewer of our website.

Terms and conditions of sale
Making a contract with us:
We can only accept payment in pounds sterling. When you place an order with us, you are making an offer to buy goods.
We will send you an e-mail to confirm that we have received your order.
In the unlikely event that the goods are no longer available, or that we have made a pricing mistake, we will advise you of this.
You will not receive an e-mail confirming acceptance of your order, and there will be no contract between us.
If the goods are not available, we may supply you with substitute goods.
If you decide not to accept the substitute goods, you will not have to pay to return them to us.
No contract will exist between you and Live Music for the sale of any product unless and until Live Music accepts your order by issuing a confirmation email stating that we have shipped your product.
At this point acceptance will be deemed complete, and will be deemed for all purposes to have been effectively communicated to you at the time Live Music sends the email to you (whether or not this email is received).
For the avoidance of doubt, any such contract will be deemed to have been concluded in the United Kingdom and any such contract will be interpreted and upheld in all respects in accordance with the laws of Scotland.
Delivery prices displayed on this site only apply to the United Kingdom main land, if you are outside of this area please contact us for more information on how we can deliver to you and any further cost it may incur.
We offer various delivery charges depending on the size and weight of the goods involved, these will be displayed at time of purchase.
If the goods are lost or damaged in transit, please let us know promptly. Some items that are the last in stock may not have their original boxes and will have been displayed in the shop for customers to try. They will still be packaged with care and this will not affect your statutory rights.
Orders to an alternative delivery address can be processed if the customer has been authenticated using 3D authentication (i.e. Verified by Visa, Mastercard, Maestro).
Live Music reserves the right to deliver only to the cardholder’s billing address.
Orders made by American Express, DINERS or JCB can only be delivered to the Customer’s billing address, no exceptions will be made.
We make several security checks to protect ourselves against fraud, we therefore reserve the right to refuse to deliver to this address should we not be able to verify it
We will contact you in the event that we have to change your preferred delivery address where you will be given the option of a refund or delivery to your billing address.
Cancellation and returns:
You can cancel your contract at any time up to 14 working days after delivery.
To do this, please e-mail or write to us.
You do not have to give any reason for cancellation. However, a brief explanation will help us to improve the service we offer to customers in the future.
If you cancel, you must return the goods to us at your own expense.
Refunds will only be given minus the original shipping cost to us, unless the item is faulty, in which case we will refund the full amount paid. If the item was offered with free shipping at point of sale, a charge will still be issued to cover the original shipping cost.
You are responsible for the risk of loss or damage when you return goods, so you should take out enough postal insurance to cover their value.
Whatever method you use to return the product, please ensure that the item is packed to at least the same standard you received it in.
Live Music are not responsible for any damage in transit if you use your own courier or if the item is insufficiently packed. Please note we cannot collect from addresses outside the United Kingdom.
If you fail to return the goods, we will collect them, and we will charge you the direct cost of collection.
If you fail to take reasonable care of the goods before they are returned to us, and this results in damage or deterioration, we will charge you for the reduction in value.
Please note that certain items (harmonicas, mouth-pieces, etc.) are ineligible for cancellation and return unless unused or faulty.
We cannot accept your purchase back if:
you did not order the product by mail order or internet, or have visited the store to discuss the purchase,
you return the product without proof of purchase, the product is missing any of the accessories that shipped with it, the product is software or pre-recorded media of any type,
All product returned to Live Music must have a Returns Authorisation (RA) number.
Goods returned without obtaining an RA number will not be accepted.

This cancellation policy does not affect your legal rights – for example, if goods are faulty or not as described.
If there is a problem with the goods, please contact us. We will deal with the matter in accordance with your legal rights.
Descriptions Of Conditions Of Items:
For items described as “Second Hand” or “Pre-Owned”, these refer to items that have been previously used or had at least one owner. All second hand items have a three month repair or replace warranty only when the item has been purchased at the full Buy It Now price, i.e if the item is bought for under the Buy It Now price then the customer will only have the standard cooling off period to return the item. Our three month warranty covers any faults in the item deemed to have possibly been there before the item was sold. In this case we will repair or replace the item free of charge. This policy does not affect your legal rights – for example, if goods are faulty or not as described.
For items described as “Commission Sale”, these refer to pre-owned items that are still under ownership of the rightful owner of the item. We then act on behalf of the customer to sell their item. For items that are commission sales we cannot offer any warranty outside the standard returns policy. Items are sold in an “As Seen” condition, this means we check the item as thoroughly as possible but cannot be held responsible for any unseen or unnoticed faults.
Live Music promotional codes may be obtained via email or print promotional material (the ‘Promotional Codes’).
Promotional Codes may be used only towards the purchase of Qualifying Items listed on our website accessible at www.livemusicshop.co.uk and sold on the website by Live Music or where stated in store (‘Qualifying Items’).
Promotional Codes entitle you to a saving on new orders of Qualifying Items placed on the website or in store (if stated). Details of the applicable discount or saving entitlement and price calculation will be shown with the description in the email or print material providing you with the promotional code.
A Promotional Code may only be used:
In a single, new purchase order of one or more Qualifying Items (the ‘Order’). Promotional Codes may not be used on any existing orders; and
In the period of time specified in the email or print material accompanying the Promotional Code (the ‘Offer Period’). The expiry date of the Offer Period for each Promotional Code is clearly shown [in/on] the email or print material accompanying the Promotional Code and, after the expiry date, Promotional Codes are no longer valid.
Live Music reserves the right not to process Orders where it determines that the Promotional Code used is invalid for the Order being placed.
The placing of an Order is subject to availability and Live Music reserves the right to amend, withdraw or terminate the validity of any Promotional Code at any time.
Promotional Codes may not to be used in conjunction with any other offer or promotion. [The Website is updated regularly and Promotional Codes may only be used in relation to clearly demarcated Qualifying Items at the time of placing the Order.]
Promotional Codes may not be exchanged for cash, credit or Gift Certificates.
If you cancel your order within the 14 day cooling-off period (see Cancellation and returns), Live Music will refund the price of the Qualifying Item(s) in full and any delivery charges less the discount applied by virtue of the Promotional Code. You will be responsible for the cost of returning the Qualifying Items to us.
Live Music reserves the right to amend, change and/or waive these ‘Promotional Codes Terms and Conditions’ at any time.
